In this episode I’ll be talking about the Apple Event yesterday, featuring the release of three new Apple computers with the new M1 chip in them. I’m very curious to see how this future plays out over the next couple of years.
It’s time for an iPhone upgrade this year and I could not be more excited about what was announced in the iPhone 12 (mini!). This episode is all iPhone hype, especially with the new MagSafe functionality on the iPhone and the return to iPhone 5S-style form factor (flat sides!).
Nick and Mike wrap up the summer with a discussion of their learnings from the Flying Into Hail event in Calgary, hosted by the Alberta Hail Suppression Project. We hear about how the project contracts Weather Modification International to reduce hail damage in an area of Alberta’s Tornado Alley by way of cloud seeding – a fleet of planes at Springbank and Red Deer Airports regularly fly into our most violent storms aiming to mitigate hail damage by cloud seeding with flares.
